Are you sure about this? My favorite is Iron Beer, it has its roots in Cuba, I was so sure it was made with sugar cane.

My wife and I had some extra time on our hands a few years back, so we bought all 3 of the major brands of root beer and did the Pepsi Challenge on each other. Based on 2 blind taste tests, we both agree that A&W tasted the best.
Naw man, it's always been Barq's. I think you've been reading the cursive wrong

I also think that you and your wife must have defective taste buds. But that's just my opinion, of course. I used to be a big fan of A&W but Barq's really does have a "bite" in comparison to the other leading brands. A&W isn't bad I suppose, I really have disdain for Mug, though. That stuff is weak.

I don't have soda very often anymore, but Barq's was always one of my favorites, with Pepsi running second.

That's also true for me. But besides Iron Beer, ever since I began stopping by Cracker Barrel I've been acquiring a taste for Stewart's gourmet soda's: Most specifically, Orange 'N Cream:

    Alright, it's Barq's then

Mug is weak, that's a fact. I think we preferred A&W because it was sweeter than Barq's (which I thought was almost bitter . . . I guess that's where the "bite" comes in).

I am fond of Jarritos Jamica. I also like Sangria Senorial. Between the Coke and Pepsi, I'll take Coke.

Oh fuck how did I forget Jarritos!

Madarin Jarritos. Not only is it the best Mexican soda ever, it's also the best "fruit" flavored soda ever. There are times when I've chosen one mexican place over another just because the one offered Jarritos.

    Can't go wrong with Jarritos.

I'm loving that Pepsi Throwback, the one made with sugar.

I'm also quite fond of Mello Yello.

I know its really bad for me but I love the new MT dew gamer fuel flavors

diet dr pepper and diet mt dew are regulars for me. otherwise I'll try and drink just about anything.

stewarts is great stuff but I prefer Henry weinhard's gourmet sodas (root beer, orange cream cherry cream etc) barqs is my favorite cheap/plentiful root beer. Love root beer but wish it had caffeine!

I tried mt dew throwback but found while better than the regular mt dew I prefer diet dew overall

Mexican coca cola and apple soda or strawberry soda's are great.

Ya, I only drink it at dinner. Problem is that I couldn't find a soda product that didn't have HFCS (High Fructose Corn Syrup) in it so I started drinking seltzer. Just recently I found out about Hansen's cane soda and I fell in love. I also found an organic tea company called "Honest Teas". Great stuff. Full of flavor

I am a caffiene fiend. I was going to respond last nite, but I had to fast for bloodwork today, and I was very hungry... and the last thing I ate before I had to fast was some bread, so the that taste was stuck in my mouth and really was icky.

But anyway, I LOVE Mountain Dew. And I love the energy drinks. Regular Rockstar is complete ass, but the Juiced Gauva and the other Juiced flavor are the best. I think in some areas they are now branded under the Punch line. The regular Rockstar Punched is GODLY, while the citrus one is awful. Zerocarb is pretty damn good, but makes me ill due to splenda, but the caffiene makes up for it.
The smell of scorched oil hangs in the air as a premonition of danger, while the engine gloriously shouts its war cry...

Throughout history, suspicion has always bred conflict. The real conflict, though, resides in people's hearts. This conflict has just begun.

Working in restaurants I was always surprised how many people asked for Mug Root Beer by name. Its like most people are brain washed zombies. Parents always wanted it for there kids because it has no caffeine. I think most of Pepsi's brands are just sweeter with less taste with more endorsements.
