However based on my experience with the first R-Type Tactics game, released as R-Type Command outside Japan, I will be looking forward to purchasing Tactics II, either on UMD or download. I hope Altus once again comes through with an english release.

Would I like to see a real arcade-like shoot 'em up on PSP or consoles? Of course, you bet I would. Yet I also love Japanese console/portable designed turn-based strategy games such as Nectaris|Military Madness.

R-Type Tactics was/is like Peanut butter & chocolate. The bringing together of two great 'tastes', the R-Type universe and turn-based strategy. It was a perfect blend ^__^

Now, how appropriate that the sequel has chocolate in its subtitle
