What game do you really like that most would consider to be crap/mediocre?

Oh no worry i can think too of crappier Genesis covers, i have a complete folder about this. Gaiares for example 0_0' Streets of Rage 3 is great too in its own way. Oh &, TurboGrafx-16 covers are even more amazing xD

Man, i way prefer the Japanese boxart here too but in this case, the Genesis cover is good enough.

Yeah a lot of people don't like that one, not me though. I enjoy it for what it is.
an early Genesis title with difficult but satisfying gameplay, based on a great movie.

There's some cheesy things that are okay like PAL version of Mutant League Football's cover but Genesis's Gaiares cover?! This is just abomination

I don't do Youtube so I don't know what the people on there have to say about it. My observations are from talking to people at Midwest Gaming Classic and local retro video game stores. The game isn't regarded very highly. Sorry if you disagree... Heck, our own Sega-16 gave it a 5 out of 10 stars.

I don't know Midwest Gaming Classic but i've already read so much bullshit on most of the forums around that i wouldn't be surprised if the same occur there.

As for the score here, i disagree with quite a lot of reviews whether in a way or another. Super Thunder Blade 10/10? Golden Axe III 4/10? No way for both. 5/10 Dick Tracy is a bit more fitting but it would rather be a 7 IMO.

Doesn't fit the subject? Aside from Genesis fans more than a majority of gamers I speak to will say this game is mediocre at best. Heck most gamers will say the Genesis is mediocre compared to the SNES(aside from the posters at this fine forum). Your initial accusation of me using Youtube comments to support my claim was wrong, now your saying the people I speak to at conventions are full of bullshit? I don't get it, do our sources have to pass some sort of mustard with you? Talk about taking the fun out of responding to a thread...

I actually have the poster that came with Gaiares and plan on getting it framed.

I like it. It's colorful and cartoony and reminds me of the 90's. I don't really care for the generic anime chick on the Japan box.

It's not nearly as good as the "Redifer" variant though:

About Youtube it was both a joke - the smiley wasn't here for nothing - & a supposition since this site can obviously be source of confusion with its ridiculous amount of inappropriate comments. See. If you take in count this kind of considerations, well, what to say? The game was well received back then since in fact, it's a good one. Maybe not excellent, clearly not amazing, but for sure not mediocre nor crap.

I really like Arcus Odyssey, though it seems this is considered pretty mediocre.

I also like F-22 Interceptor, which to me is the best of the polygon Genesis games. Also, for some reason Joe Montana 2: Sports Talk Football clicks with me, even though I normally don't get into sports games.
