    Default Saturn recording help

Is there any Saturn Emulator that you can record video off of? I'm working on a something and it would be great if I could get some Saturn video. I already have Camstudio though. Would that work?

Camstudio will work, but unless you have a pretty beefy system SSF will lag something cronic making the games very difficult to play.

I do vidcap from the saturn through s-Video with a cheap and cheerful USB capture card (£8 from eBay) if you actually have a Saturn this really is the way to go, and with a cheap adaptor you can play on your TV while recording to your computer.

I was actually thinking about this. What type of file does the capture card make?

I got one of them, with the software they can do avi, mpeg 1,2,4 and some others with a patch. I personally use an easy cap which gets video from 320x240 up to PAL resolutions. A USB 3.0 adapter is coming out soon that will be able to do 1080p. Not too sure on the credibility of that, but I'm pretty sure that there is a PCI-e card that can do that, but the ones I've seen cost more than $200. So for Saturn I'd get a USB capture device.
