    Default Dreamcast 2

Would you buy a Dreamcast 2 if Sega actually made one? So lets start a "poll" and see what the numbers get to. If SO MANY people want a Dreamcast 2... Why not give us one and make alot of money?? Know what I mean?!!

If the Dreamcast 2 has an awesome line up of games like Shenmue 3 ot a JGR sequel, I would definitely buy it.

I Think Sega should make a completely backwards compatibly system!

    Master System / Genesis / Sega CD / 32x / Saturn / Original Dreamcast!

    WHO wouldn't buy it then!!!

    Dreamcast 2 = Xbox

I would prefer for Microsoft to abandon the Xbox hardware brand and move it completely to XBL service, And have a 'Sega branded' console, exclusively capable of running it.

    Snowballs in hell though...

    Never going to happen.

None of Sega's systems has ever been Previous System 2. If they make another console, it wouldn't be Dreamcast 2.

This. Xbox was pretty much a DC2, especially since it had all their best niche games on it(mm, Orta).

It also had some fine niche games of its own, like Xyanide and Phantom Dust.

Yeah, the Xbox pretty much continued what most likely would have been on the Dreamcast. GunValkyrie was originally announced for the DC and even ODCM had screen shots of the DC title.

A Black Falcon: no, computer games and video games are NOT the same thing. Video games are on consoles, computer games are on PC. The two kinds of games are different, and have significantly different design styles, distribution methods, and game genre selections. Computer gaming and console (video) gaming are NOT the same thing."

If I were a Sega exec, I'd call it the Sega Phoenix...it would have scaling and rotation capabilities, use COMPACT DISC technology, play any of the owners many LaserDisc movies, be a fully functional turntable for vinyl, and be fully compatible with all Atari 2600 games.

I do recall a Master System II being named for the SMS compaq model.

Maybe it's just me but the PS2 seemed to get a majority of the Sega exclusives.

The PS2 got a majority of the Shining Series games, but Sega seemed to spread the wealth pretty evenly.
