Default Old Movies That Should Be Games!

I really enjoyed the Ghostbusters Game! It was quite impressive. They should definitely make a Back To The Future Game! Any other suggestions and do you agree!?

I say a more Resident Evil style "The Thing" game. One that you can actually be infected with "The Thing".

Back to the Future actually had 2 nes games. One of which was awful. I don't know about the other one though.

Every Blade Runner game I've seen is great, I think they should try another one in that vein. Or maybe something Noirish like Sin City. I dig rain-slicked evenings.

I was thinking along that line too, except Snatcher has already been done. If they could take the same kind of story telling and cyberpunk setting and put it into a 3d world and have Condemned kind of investigation side to it or the like I think you would have a real winner on your hands.

After he gets done doing whatever the hell he's doing in Californeeuhh, Ahhnold should really do some voice acting. Imagine a decent Predator or Total Recall game (not sure about Total Recall but whatever), it could play like shit as long as he does the voice work and maybe the writing for it. I would buy it day 1 for sure.

Let's not forget the classic Back to the Future 3 for the Genesis. If there was a series of movies that has a good track record, it is definitely BttF.

    My choice: Evil Dead 2.

I worship BttF, but I say *NO* to any more games based on the series.

There are at least 4 games based on the series and only one is worth a damn....

Didn't anyone watch AVGN Ghostbusters?? There are quite a few Ghostbuster games and most suck, except the Genesis Version! But come on!! BTTF could be a great game! Just like the GB game is a sequel to the movie, the BTTF4 game would kick ass! Michael J Fox can still do voice overs! It all works!

A "Ghostbusters" sequel works because the 2nd movie didn't have an ending that said "This is it, no more!" like BttF did.

I spent some time on a BttF website in 99-2000 and determined, from reading a bunch of thoughts from dedicated fans, that a 4th BttF movie just wouldn't work.

Marty fixed his life, Doc found a woman and had kids, and the Delorean is dead. It is over.

But I must admit I got quite a bit of joy from playing the BttF Vice City mod. A buggy alpha, but it was pretty sweet flying around in the Delorean.

PS. WTF is up with this poll? How can we have results that equal 150%?

Fine! No sequel! But I really enjoyed the BTTF Vice City Mod too!! So what can we do? How about an alternate universe like Star Trek! Let Doc go back in his train and mess everything up. And it's up to 1985 Marty to fix it all! With time travel you can totally screw with the story! How about something happen that we didn't know about! Or another future problem that they try and fix! You could really run with it and do alot! I guess that would technically make it a sequel (game).

I'd rather someone put their creative effort into something new. Take the time travel aspect and apply it to a storyline that is better suited for video game play.

I love BttF, but I know it makes a far better movie than it would a video game (and history has proven that). You could probably argue that todays technology allows for a better possible game (ala Ghostbusters) but the main problem is still that the story of BttF doesn't lend itself well to a video game. Time travel was used to setup Marty screwing up his parents meeting and his quest to get them back together.

The world does not need a Back to the Future dating sim.
