Totally bitched it today. I practiced trapping all day and got in trouble. I made something crappy like 30m in Addams Family and god knows how little in Indy 4. Not a lot, I couldn't even get the Ark open, but I am learning how to hit targets better with some control, rather than just slapping the ball around and hoping something happens.

I did see the Power in Addams Family though, which is magnets under the playing surface. It really makes it a tough game! I think I should practice on Indy 4 for now and use Addams Family to try and rack up points.

Gonna try and get to Judge Dredd one of these days. I have been awake for a couple days though, so maybe my eyes are just too slow.

    Whoa

I like playing the Pokémon Pinball games! I also remember standing next to a really loud and obnoxious pinball machine whilst playing Puzzle Bobble in an arcade.

Indiana Jones 4 is actually a decent Pinball machine, and it's by Stern. But it's nothing super-great, and for some reason places like to jack up the price of one game on it to 75 cents. The only other Stern pinball machine I ever liked was Simpsons Pinball Party.

And Pokemon Pinball just isn't the same as real pinball, although it is rather fun. I hate the flippers in the original though, they're so wierd. The ball bounces everywhere and is just ridiculously hard to control.

As for playing pinball myself, I've been going to the bowling alley near me and after a game or two, I'll play some Cirqus Voltare, and I must say it's a great machine!

Oh, so that's why it's so hard! I thought that was just me being rubbish.

I could never really get into Cirqus Voltaire, I think the art scared me.

Played some more Addams Family today and I am getting way better. I got up to 40m and had multiball a few times, and made the left ramp for the first time!

Indy 4 was off the hook today. I only made like 50m but got the Ark open and made it to the third scene in Raiders. I also am getting very accurate on the right side of the playfield, my trapping is much better and I can hit the Last Crusade on command. I think I am going with left flipper for Grail/Sankara stone and right flipper for all other stuff (cept Crystal Skull). Seems to be working out. My scores are a little lower, but I have waaaay more control now. I just have to avoid the damn slingshots.

Problem today was me getting too much in control, I kept accidentally letting it drain because I was trying to pass the ball between flippers slowly.
