Why didn't they just release S3&K from the start instead of releasing just Sonic 3?

Because you can't nickel and dime your customers that way.

I'm of the opinion that you should already own a cart copy of Sonic 3 as well as Sonic & Knuckles if you're even going to post here, but hey. Maybe that's just me.

I'm in agreement with you Jerry.

If you don't own Sonic 3+Knuckles then you should be banned.

Why don't you go back in time and ask 1994 Yuji Naka? Black hole, starship, Superman, and/or copious amounts of whiskey required.

They didn't put it all on one cart (although it was planned that way) because it wouldn't fit.

That's true, but thanks to the elves we can now enjoy Sonic 3 how it was meant to be played:

It's just been one of those days I should have been more specific, what I meant to say was:

But I think Jerry answered that question already.

I actually looked at how much MS points both Sonic 3 and S&K actually cost and it's not that bad. It's slightly less than 12$, which is cheaper than it would be to download both games on the Wii. It's a pretty good deal if you ask me.

To be perfectly honest, paying for S3 and S&K now is better than back in 1994. That was like $50 a pop, *each*.

$100 to get a "game" you should have only paid $50-60 for *once*.

$12 now is s damn steal.

it's also the working title for the original Sonic the Hedgehog: Mr. Needlemouse. There's a really nice documentary about it on youtube somewhere, they also interview the original developers and it turns out that Michael Jackson played a HUGE role all over the place with the game design.

I wish MJ's zombie corpse would come back to life, confirm he had nothing to do with anything Sonic, then do the Thriller dance.
