Well I'm at work until 6:15, so... you're a jerk KD

EDIT: Castlevania ReBirth AND Pilotwings today?! If I didn't already own Pilotwings this would've been an expensive day for me

I'm still hopefull that one day they'll release some sort of compilation as a hard copy that you can buy. Maybe they can call it "Retro Renaissance Collection."

I think this is up there with Bloodlines & Rondo of Blood in awesomeness.

Bring on the Jackal ReBirth Konami, you're obviously good at this shit.

The game on Normal Difficulty is a cakewalk up until Stage 3.
So if you get it, and feel like saying: "Aww man, they made it easy like Contra Rebirth! this will get boring."
Be mindful, eating those words will be in your near future.

Once you exit the game (pause, return to titlescreen) for the first time, it unlocks 'Classic' player style in options & you can save your data.
It also lets you play with the Wiimote/Wiimote+Nunchuck/ClassicController/GamecubeController. All set up with basic NES style 2 button playability. 'Up+Attack=Special'

Classic style = Inertia when jumping. Unstoppable in mid-air like the old hopping brick Simon Belmont games.
Regular style you control distance yourself.

I just downloaded this afternoon and it's on par with the other Rebirth games. I wish there was a way to disable the blur filter in the options menu. I also unlocked a couple of extra options in my first play through, so I'm glad M2 has put in some reason for me to revisit the game after completing it. A solid B+ so far.

Downloaded this, and I will be playing after the kids go to sleep.

How much is this (in dollars, not points)? I just need to now since I buy my Wii Points cards at Wal-Mart or wherever (no tax!)

    $10. 100 points = $1

1000 Points = 10USD before taxes from the Wii Store.

Walmart usually sells the 2000 point cards discounted to 15 bucks.
So you're getting a good deal at retail, just be mindful that they need to be activated when bought, & they're poorly made. (Scratching too hard can rip the numbers off, leading to customer service calls.)

Do they? I don't remember ever having to pay a sales tax. Might as well start buying them exclusively from Walmart.

Well, they have a presence in Canada which dictates sales tax on the purchase.

I imagine they have taxes on a state by state basis as well, maybe Washington State only, if at all.

Thanks for the tip on the Walmart card. I think I'll give it a go. I've been meaning to play Contra Rebirth as well. =)

I just got back from Wal*Mart. They now charge tax on the card. It is not $5 cheaper. All other retail stores are also now charging tax even though Xbox Live and PSN do not. Nintendo can go fuck itself. I don't have a credit card that can be used with the Wii Internet thingy.
