People aren't going to deny or skewer the past to serve a context of 'political correctness' regarding the current discussion, they would sooner push to have the thread locked (I sense this coming.) So your rhetoric here is unnecessary, especially comparing it to the Wii discussion.

I think IP hit the nail on the head with his response, but would ask that you take your opinion, accept his, and drop the issue altogether.

Appearantly Melf must've deleted that interview. I remember it saying something like:

In the case of Gunstar Heroes, because the 68000 is so fast, it can rotate every sprite in the multijoined-sprite bosses all by itself without any slowdown.

Does anybody remember that artical I'm refering to? If you've watched a video of Gunstar Heroes in slowmotion, you can easily tell that they only used 16 frames/angles of each sprite. Realtime cpu sprite rotation indeed
