Well, if they're listening, I'd like to get a Sonic trucker style hat, coffee mug for speed-juice, t-shirts (plural), and maybe a keychain. A box like that might entice me to spend that much on a game of older releases.
I'm not gonna go get humped by a giant red ape in space.

Yeah, and with taking inflation into account that's close to $145, then again, if you take inflation into account, a lot of contemporary cart based games were pretty expensive compared to the average current releases.
6 days older than SEGA Genesis

I'd like a hardbound coffee table book collection of Sonic furry porn printed on high-quality glossy paper.

Eh. I just like the convenience of having them on a modern platform - I enjoy the games, not just the hardware, after all

I love the mental image of some scruffy furry artist standing in chains in front of a judge for copyright infringement.

    and a PC isn't a modern platform?

That wouldn't constitute copyright infringement. First of all, we all know furry artists don't sell their work, getting off to their demented drawings is enough. Second of all, all you have to do is change it a certain percent and it is legally distinct. You could also potentially claim it was parody which is protected under fair use.

...and chains...really? I don't think a police officer has ever busted down the door of a house and beat someone down for intellectual property infringement, most intellectual property suits are civil matters anyway.
