You can't just copy those files directly onto a DVD, but there are tools available to convert a CD-based PS2 game to DVD. As far as I know, they do require a bit of technical skill though, and you'll have to give me some time to track them down first.
Thanks..Just PM me the info
Here's a fairly concise guide: link.
It's written in an annoyingly condescending manner, but it should help you on your way. There should be other similar methods that involve creating empty dummy files to fill the disc up to DVD size, but I cannot find any good guides for that at this moment. Try and see if this method works for you first.
I try that later, thanks
here's what I'm using for the test
Game: Ridge Racer V, Marvel vs Capcom 2. iso
Burning software: Alcohol 120%, DiscJuggler
Media: DVD-RW(test) DVD+R (burn)
Burning or write speed at 3X
Marvel vs Capcom 2 is the main reason..but I don't like paying an arm & a leg for,
Is DVD-R better then DVD+R??
Wait, the PS2 can actually read DVD-RWs?
Yes..I have a Movie on DVD-RW that play's fine....
I'm backing up my PS2 DVD Games on DVD+R..
ESR isn't reading them..I'm I doing something wrong here
