Anyone here ever been to a Game Crazy? I just found one attached to a Hollywood video store by me.
Is it the same as Play N Trade?

I have a Game Crazy near me, I can personally say its alot better than a gamestop in terms of customer service.
They used to have alot of old games when they first started, once it all got cleared out though they stocked up on alot of the newer games. Least they still sell some old consoles like ps1 and xbox.
Sometimes they even have accessories for old consoles like wireless nes advantage controllers. This store is definitely worth a look.
Game Crazy used to be THE place to shop for used games, since their prices were significantly lower than GameStop's. But lately they've raised their prices to stay competitive, removing much of the advantage they had over GameStop.
Plus, GC is going slowly out of business. 200 stores have already been closed down recently, which means they'll be able to compete with GS that much less efficiently. I predict that by this time next year, they'll all be gone.
I better get on over there and see what the deal is before they close their doors too...

The only thing I don't like about Gamecrazy is that they seem to have WAY more generic cased games than anything else. At least at the local Gamestop I can count a lot more originals than generic cases, whereas at GC I find myself trying to find a game that ISN'T in a generic case.
Oh, and they really hound you about getting the warranty protection. I've had to say no up to 3 times on a single purchase.
Other than that, prices are pretty nice and you can still find some random old stuff that nobody's picked up (mine has a rack full of sealed GBA games, some decent titles even, and nobody is taking them)
they also have price matches..
There used to be a great Game Crazy just right down the street from me. I picked up a lot of great games there (Xenogears, Chrono Trigger, Castlevania: Bloodlines). When they closed a few years back it was pretty terrible. Definitely one of the most underrated stores out there.
