    Best Priest song ever.

While not the same sub genre, I like the 'Death' cover & it's different solos.

Not to detract from the scene, but Death was the best "Metal band" out of Florida, Ever. Each album was progressively better than the last, it's quite unfortunate that Chuck Schuldiner died of a brain tumor in his prime.

He was more than a mastermind to the band, or other projects like Control Denied, he was a genuinely talented composer for aggressive music & his album-to-album thematic lyrics were all about philosophy and 'purpose', instead of gore & satanism.

I picked up Prey from a yard sale for $5 a few months ago. I like it, I played the demo when it first came out and thought it was relatively unique. But The game gets old quick, I tried to play it all the way through, and you really never die either which is kinda good and kinda bad all at the same time. Everything really starts to look the same, and they tease you with a glimps of your girlfriend's voice to keep you going.... The overall idea was great, Indians (native americans) and Aliens (non-native american terrestrials) with mystical powers... And it's pretty spooky, but how about some puzzles! The first real big guy you run into, you just keep shooting, and dying, and get resurrected and continue shooting then dye and etc. etc....

I thought I was alone in this. Sure the graphics were good, but HL2 just felt... dull. The only real good part was Ravenholm.

As for Painkiller, I have all four games. The first game and its expansion are by far the best. Overdose is pretty good (if a bit disjointed), but holy shit are those load times long. I haven't gotten to really play Resurrection yet, as it keeps crashing with fatal errors and script errors during gameplay, as well as locking up my PC during the loading screens. I'll give it another try when they come out with a damn patch to fix it so it actually works.

Yes, Ravenholm was great and no, your not alone. HL2 was valve and steams way of bleeding their customers dry. They released a beautiful game that was boring, empty, and too short. Then they began to release extra "Episodes". Freakin bastards. I didn't buy any of that shit.

    I agree,

The first game and battle out of hell are amazing. I never played overdose but I heard it has its ups and downs. Resurrection I just can't trust at the moment. There is WAY too many bugs, glitches, and screwed up AI for it to warrant a purchase. I'm going to wait for it to drop in price or after they come out with a patch. Hopefully they will fix it up.

The story's not too bad, and the levels are huge at times. Some of the enemies look a little silly, but others are creative or even funny (demonic hen houses shooting exploding chickens... 'nuff said). The bosses are easier until you reach the final one as well. But overall, it's worth the $4.71 plus shipping it'll cost you to get it (it's cheaper to get the "Triple Dose" pack, which has Overdose in it, along with the first game's soundtrack... sounds dumb, but on Amazon, it's true). You can still tell the game started as a fan mod, but it turned out pretty well.

I definitely like the new weapons in overdose.

Right now I'm stuck on trauma difficulty in the military base. It's hard as hell. I'm walking around with 1 HP left.
