I just ordered SOR3 and TMNT Hyperstone Heist offline. I didn't get much of a good deal, but I am pretty excited for when they get here. I am sure both will be very enjoyable (even though I know many of you can't stand SOR3).

It isn't that SOR3 sucks, its just tedious.

I thin that most of the Capcom arcade beat em Ups feel almost exactly the same but that's a good thing.

Well, I got my games a while ago, and I like both Hyperstone Heist and SOR3 a lot. Hyperstone Heist was a little too easy and short though, but still is a very enjoyable game. SOR3 to me is way difficult, I haven't been able to get past the fifth stage yet. I think it is still a really good game, I just prefer the first two SOR games to the third. Eventually I will have to get Bare Knuckle 3 so that I can compare. If its difficulty is a little more forgiving like I have heard, than it may be the better choice for me. As soon as I can get some more money, I will try to pick up some of the other games you guys have mentioned on here.

Can't go wrong with any of the SOR games, or the TMNT game (even though it is a watered down version of Turtles in Time (didn't know that on my 9th birthday party!)).

There's one game that sucks and that's Two Crude Dudes (Data East). That game is ass. The Double Dragon games are ass too.

But there is a big BUT, the Battletoads/Double Dragon game is unbelievable! I love that game. The Battletoads game isn't bad either.

The Double Dragon games aren't bad (except for 3). They just aren't worth the price. I mean the music on DD2 is the most accurate to the arcade version there is. However paying over $50 and expecting it to be worth 50 would end in disapointment.

I'm talking about the Genesis versions, though the first one isn't too bad. i got it loose for like $8. Isn't that a rare game or something?

Yea, I would say 2 Crude Dudes is average, I dont get why people say its great. Yea its fun pickin up stuff and throwin it, but it gets tedious, also I loathe the midgets.
I would say Mystical Fighter is better. (Of course as ive said SOR series is the best)

I always liked mazin saga, but the crappy boss battles ruined it. You go from playing this sweet side scrolling beat'em up to some turdy digital rendition of rock'em sock'em robots.

That's funny, considering that I got the game (the Japanese version of it, anyway) without knowing anything about it and it's now become one of my favorite Genesis/MD games. It's got a pretty good soundtrack too, thanks to Hitoshi Sakimoto.
