I haven't decided whether they're throwing us a bone, or a slap to the face.
Sega is slowly redeeming themselves one game at a time.
At least they're acknowledging that Shenmue exists. That counts for something.
I really don't know what to say to this. I'll have to ponder on it for a while longer.
I guess this is: "You get this instead for Shenmue 3" from Sega. I haven't played the Shenmue games very much, so I can't decide if this is a good thing.

only for the fact that alex the kidd is playble on his motorcycle
but can they please scratch all those stupid wannebe sonic figures out of the game sonic tails and knuckles more than enough let the rest burn
I guess avenging his father can wait while he races some cartoon characters.
I've never found a copy of Shenmue so it doesn't really mean much to me, however I am very glad that Sumo are paying attention to fans as this game has real potential to be a superb celebration of Sega past and present. With Beat in and Nights all but confirmed all I need now is Ulala to be confirmed and I'll pre-order right away.
They should put Axel in there with the squad car from the first Streets of Rage, and the dude with the rocket launcher can ride shotgun.
Oh and Joe Musashi riding a surfboard on some magic wave or something (better than a boring old horse), I'd probably even consider renting the game, but then again it IS Sega ...*sigh*.
