Well, are you going to buy it?
I was such a dumbass to pass up buying one for $30 at Best Buy, when they were clearing it and the CDX out.
A Black Falcon: no, computer games and video games are NOT the same thing. Video games are on consoles, computer games are on PC. The two kinds of games are different, and have significantly different design styles, distribution methods, and game genre selections. Computer gaming and console (video) gaming are NOT the same thing."
I dunno, $200 is a little steep for an X' Eye, even if it is mint-in-box. Maybe if you were planning on eBaying it immediately after. This might just be me, however, since I'm used to buying neglected systems on the cheap and cleaning them up and fixing them myself. Now if it were that über rare Laserdisc player with the Sega CD module, I'd personally drive to Pensacola to buy it out from under you.
Totally serious-- I think this kid in my physics class has one. He was telling me about this "Sega that plays laserdiscs" that he has. I should find a way to get over there and see if it really is one. And if it is I should see if I can procure it from him-- if I can I'll offer it up to ya since I don't really need/want one.
BUMP! UPDATE! http://pensacola.craigslist.org/vgm/1467482466.html
He offered it for $125 plus Contra Hard Corp.... He added pictures to the craigslist, what you guys think? (it reads like it has a "box in mint condition" but there is no box! And the JVC on the side says "Refurbished"
I have one of those. I only paid $60 for it and got like four sega CD games along with it and the JVC controller.
