Default NES powerpak: How is it?

I've been thinking about getting this flashcart to solve a number of problems I have in regards to playing and collecting games for NES. But I want to know basically how good the compatibility is on it?

Its pretty good, runs almost everything.
well except for the weirder pirate roms, but even some of those run just fine (like somari)

And you can upgrade it so it runs more mappers, though i need to look into that again and see if they've released something new yet.

I think it runs every licensed game except for Castlevania III and most, if not all, unlicensed (non-pirate) games. I'd say it's worth it if you're an accuracy stickler and are tired of exhaustively searching for the rarer games.

Personally, I'd rather just play ROMs on the computer/DC/XBOX if I'm not going to have the real cartridge, well, unless they start selling these flashcarts for like $40 or less.

If you're looking for the cheapass way out, just torrent NesterDC 6 for Dreamcast, the accuracy is good and the DC controller's D-pad and buttons are similar enough to an NES controller to make it a solid alternative.
