First things first, I'm a huuuuge adventure game fan,
that means i love Monkey Island, King's Quest, Space Quest, Larry, Indy, Igor, Kyrandia, Broken Sword, Simon the Sorcerer, etc etc.

so imagine my surprise a couple years ago when i heard about "Runaway : A Road Adventure"
the screenshots i saw looked amazing, and i was dead set on buying it.

But then i discovered that the game used Starforce protection, which i just don't want anywhere near my computer. (personal preference)

So i didn't buy it and pretty much forgot about it,
but then a year or 2 ago i found this duo pack of both Runaway games, (apparently they made a sequel)
and i bought it. (it was very cheap)

so i come home and shelved the game, until a couple months ago when i was rebitten by the adventure bug,
and decided to try it out!

So before installing the game i decided to google the game a bit,
and thats when i rediscovered that the game uses starforce..
BUT! apparently the sequel does NOT use starforce.

So i started thinking, the original game came on 3 cdroms,
as to where my version comes on 1 dvd..
would it be possible that they removed starforce when they re-released the game on dvd?

So i went to their official forums and asked the very same question, but never got an answer.

so i decided to ask my question here, are any of you familair with this game and know the answer?
or is there a way to check the disc for starforce clues?
