    I guess I'll second that.
IMHO it played the best, and had the best graphics out of all the golden age Turtles games.

Too bad it was short, and was all rehash sans Tatsu (though it shouldn't have been, Technodrome and Super Shredder were designed specifically for Hyperstone Heist, but put in Turtles in Time since it was still in development.)

    Street Fighter:2010 (NES)
    Drakkhen (SNES)
    Shining Soul (GBA)
    Children of Mana (DS)

I can't think of any Genesis games I love that are considered crappy.

I noticed, that most people on the internet don't like Warlock, but I really like
it. It has only one problem that makes it rather unfair, but the reviews I've
seen mostly don't even point it out right. So I really dig that game and am
currently trying to finally finish it.

Pit-Fighter and Sparkster are two often maligned Genesis titles that I like a lot. I think the way the rocket controls in Sparkster is actually more fun than in RKA.
It may no longer be the `90s, but there is still time for Klax.

Yeah, if Super Shredder and the Technodrome (and possible those two sub-bosses in the Technodrome level from SNES Turtles in Time) I don't think the game would seem as much of a re-hash.

I've always had a soft spot for Sonic 3D blast. It's not very good but it's not total shit either. Ive always been a sucker for those isometric games like Marble Madness and Snake rattle & roll. Just something about that style that kept me playing.

While most seem to despise the game, I personally love Zero Tolerance. The beginning space station missions are nothing to write home about, but once you get to raiding the high rise things really get interesting.

Picking off the sniper on the adjacent roof with a well-placed rocket, storming through the flaming floors to the basement levels, and staring out at the city skyline through a window you've sprayed with alien gore all made for good times.

Also, Altered Beast, Light Crusader, and Golden Axe II (sure, It's no Revenge of Death Adder, but it's still a classic), are all favorites of mine.

I love Zero Tolerance, for a while it was my only source for an FPS shooter,
the part i liked the most were the later Alien levels with the little biting squids, while i was roaming around the corridors with the pulse rifle/shotgun/flame thrower.
    yeah.. good times.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one!

Before I got my 32X with Doom ZT was also my only FPS option. I remember seeing an add for it in one of Funcoland's adds in a Game Player's magazine back before the company expanded out of the midwest and when they still did mail order business. I freaked and totally called to see what we could work out so I could get a copy, knowing nothing about how the trade in and store credit system worked. Oh, the joys of being a crazed ten year old eager to get his fix of console shooting.

The levels were quite cool. Eventually your arsenal gets pretty damn ridiculous. There's nothing more satisfying than seeing a squid pop up on your radar as a red blip when you can barely see them in the darkness, squeezing off a shotgun blast, and then hearing the thud as they blip fades from your screen.

I can tolerate th esmall viewing window, framerate, and draw distance, but the strafing controlls are funky (with jump/crouch with the same button), same for weapon/item selecting. (not as annoying but a bit awkward)

Like several other games, offering 6-button controls would have solved those issues.
6 days older than SEGA Genesis

I do remember both of these issues driving me a bit nuts when I was younger, though I did get used to them.

On that note, it does boggle my mind how few games utilized the benefits of the six button controller.

hmmm sounds interesting, guess im gonna have to give it a shot im a pretty big fan of the doom franchise and ive always seen zt at my local used game stores and came close to buying it but figured a fps on the stock genny was too good to be true.
I don't play old stuff for nostalgia, I play old stuff because the games are better.

Here's a gameplay vid to give you an idea of what to expect.
