But I have noticed a trend in the price going up. It's not a lot, but it's there and it's creeping up. 5 years ago you could get a Genesis for $5-10 complete (no box). I bought two Sega CDs for $10 each. Bought a Model 1 + 32x for $15. Now, systems are in the $25-30 range complete (no box). Games that were in the low $5 range, are now in the $10+ range and increasing. I don't like, no sir. I don't like it.
Yeah, I don't think Nintendo stuff ever dropped quite as low, though NES/SNES stuff (the latter moreso) does seem to have been increasing more significnatly on average than a number of other platforms. N64 still seems reasonable, a lot of PSX stuff is really cheap other than a few titles (Silent Hill being one of theose exceptions unfortunatly), saturn stuff (or many of the better games) seems to be rather expensive, but Dreamcast stuff seems to be very affordable. (though I see next to nothing locally, very few games let alone any consoles -I see a lot more GC and Xbox stuff)

Genesis stuff seems to be creeping up, but not reall too much more than average inflation, rather like Atari 2600 stuff. The Sega CD has gotten a lot more pricey though and 32x is getting there. (the latter often tied to the mixing cable being included -especially the model 1 adaptor)
Atari 7800 stuff seems to have gone up a bit too, but I think 5200 has done moreso. (at least for properly functioning units)
Jaguar stuff has gone crazy though, but given the limited supply (under 250,000 ever produced) it's understandably very demand sensitive, the CD unit much moreso. (I think sonething like $50,000 were made)
6 days older than SEGA Genesis

I bought that game years ago in 2000 or 01 and I didn't bother to look for a CIB copy.
