I agree with a lot of those games listed and have used that list to gather up my small collection.

I actually quite like the saturn, it's not a bad machine to play on, it is just a pity it didn't take off as well as it could have.

I also scored a 3D controller for free recently too, that is very nice to use.

Sega hit the jackpot with that controller, it was very comfy, despite looking strange Sega still used the design as a base for the Dreamcast controller

Wait, why wouldn't the graphics be at least the same!? Why would they be worse?

the GFX is same, at least I have not noticed any notable differences....
SFX are from one edge to another, and music is ADPCM compressed stuff recorded off some not that great sounding MD1....

as for games I play the most :

    Exhumed / Power Slave
    Duke Nukem 3D
    Road Rash
    Death To MP3, :3

    I'll second a few here.

Dragon Force-so addicting and fun (my favorite Saturn game) and in my top 5 fav. games of all time.

Shining The Holy Ark-If you had any interest in Shining in the Darkness then this is a MUST. It improves on it in spades. This one is totally underrated.

Astal-Stunning 2D graphics (must be seen) & fun, simple gameplay, but very challenging at times.

Shining Force III- I prefer the Genesis games myself, but this is still an excellent game.

They aren't any worse. I get the feeling that Baloo hasn't spent much time with Jam; other than the slightly off sounds and ability to save, the games are identical, and they look every bit as good as the Genesis versions.

Nice video Melf. Great collection of games.
I never thought to make my own label for Astal, good idea.
I now remember from the TNL forum (where I've sparsely posted since 2002) that you were a big fan of Shining the Holy Ark. A great game that doesn't get the recognition it deserves.
I loved Target Earth too back when I got it in 1990, great music with just insane difficulty. Did you ever finish Target Earth?

    kitty kitty kitty kitty!

That's a nice collection you have there. I have all of 11 games (2 are on their way). They are nice cases the ones I have (aussie PAL) are a glorified card board box, 2 plastic case halves held together by the cardboard outside.

Most of my games I got for $5-10 and they are ok.

When I get home from work I will post up my small list of games....

    Nice collection!

I'm surprised you don't have any of the Virtua Cop games, or the excellent Vampire Savior.

You have a couple of games I don't have, like Powerslave and Steamgear Mash, but I seem to have most of the title you have. I didn't get the Saturn version of Thunderforce V, but I did get it for the Playstation.
A Black Falcon: no, computer games and video games are NOT the same thing. Video games are on consoles, computer games are on PC. The two kinds of games are different, and have significantly different design styles, distribution methods, and game genre selections. Computer gaming and console (video) gaming are NOT the same thing."

I can only finish TG with the invincibility code. The game just gets too damn hard at the end.

I have a boxed Stunner but no VF. I have no idea how that happened. I don't even remember where I got the gun!

Awesome collection, Melf! Yours is what mine would ideally look like, haha. Lots of great games there.
