I purchased a sealed Dreamcast game last week, but Im questioning whether its a reseal or not. My main question is if they had the security seal on the top or not. Mine does not, and to be honest I dont remember how they looked brand new.

On the half a dozen new DC games I've gotten, I don't remember a security seal at all on any of them. The shrinkwrap was neat and folded over on both top and bottom edges, folded over like Christmas wrapping. They didn't just have a heat sealed seam at both ends like some cheap CDs sometimes have. The wrap was crinkly, not soft plastic if that makes any sense.
Ow! My small intestine!
Well yes, I'd say they were wrapped in heavy cellophane instead of having been sealed in plastic shrinkwrap to be more technically accurate.

I'm got some new sealed DC games here I bought in 2000.
Jet Grind Radio, Super Magnetic Neo, & Grandia II.
There's no security seal on top like on the old PS games (I still have some PS games sealed).
It's weird though, the shrinkwrap is slightly loose on my DC games.
It's more unlikely that someone would try to deceive you on resealing DC games compared with older & rarer games on the SNES or something.
Ok, it sounds like I got a valid sealed copy then. Thanks for the input.
