We received 10 inches of snow over the weekend. I'm pissed.

At least it's not 10 inches of slush.

Well how 'bout that weather. Unusual for us, we started getting some scattered mild spring weather right about the time that the spring season officially began.

Then the last 2 days have been like the dead middle of summer. It's been in the 80's with a blazing sun all day, and the air has been very humid, thick, and heavy. The sky has been a hazy deep blue and also at times, a hazy misty white. I've been sweating buckets. People are so excited for these 2 days that all of a sudden the streets are full of convertibles and motorcycles. Guys are outside in T-shirts and women are breaking out the bikini-tops, halter tops etc.

65F at the moment, but I'm afraid it's going to be a really hot summer.

My wife keeps begging me to move to England. How's the economy there?

I believe "creeping out of recession" was the phrase used last time I looked - but I suppose that's semi sort of not really positive, which is about as good as reports and such get :/ (generally involve other ways of saying "you're all fucked").

At least the rain's slowing down... at the moment...

89 degrees, 102 in the heat index. People here spend holy week at the beach.

Lucky you have beaches! I'm 30km from Alaska, it's raining and there is not a beach for hundreds of kilometres. 'Round here we have jagged, rocky cliffs that step off into the Pacific

Man, to be on "island time".

It was mid-70's here. I'm glad the grass is starting to turn green again.

You sound like an old Chinese man. I'm not sure if that is a saying or if you are obsessed with your lawn.

I might just be an old Chinese man.

    But I'm not.

I don't live for lawn care, but I love warmer weather. Nicer temps, and the ladies are wearing less.

It was pretty bad where I'm at. There was a huge windstorm that knocked out my power. The power's back on now, but it's still really windy out.
