The Saturn needs a modchip to play CD-R games. They're pretty hard to find these days.
how educated are you on burning dreamcast isos? ive read alot of material that totally contradicts this statement.
I don't play old stuff for nostalgia, I play old stuff because the games are better.

    little right, alot of wrong.

There is a cutoff date: October 2000, which I believe was first published by the makers of Bleem because their special boot disc wouldn't work on DCs made after that date. That said, I have never seen one nor have I ever come across someone complaining about having one online. It's possible they were only sold in the Japanese market or some other obscure non-English speaking market. If anyone has proof on the contrary, I'm all ears, but I've never seen a single post where someone said "aw crap, I have a November 2000 model!"

As for burning the games, it is RETARDEDLY simple. Download a Dreamcast game in .CDI format, install Padus Diskjuggler trial software (no expiration, just mandatory slow burning speed), double click .CDI file, click burn, done.

He must have confused burning Dreamcast games with ripping Dreamcast games, which requires a wacky wild action bike method of streaming the game through the broadband adapter and reformatting it to normal CD format which may or may not include compressing or removing video cutscenes (usually only on multi-disc games like RPGs).

Yes I have, No problems at all (inc shipping to Australia). I purchased a modchip and PAR 4 in 1.

A month later I was given a US saturn, with modchip in place Ah well.
